This lovely friendly venue is half a mile south of St Albans city centre at the foot of Holywell Hill and there is a huge car park right outside. Follow the A5183 (from either direction) and look out for the brown traffic signs. You\'ll find the theatre just behind the big leisure centre.

By rail: Hackney Central (2 mins walk from the Picturehouse). Hackney Downs and London Fields train stations are 10 minutes walk away, with trains going into Liverpool Street.
By underground: Hackney Central has regular trains linking to the Tube. There are direct interchanges at Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line), Stratford (Central Line) and West Hampstead and Canada Water (Jubilee Line). Bethnal Green (Central Line) is a short bus ride away.

You won\'t miss this stunning round Grade II listed building in red brick....it is a hidden gem tucked behind Portobello Road. The venue includes a theatre, art gallery, bar and kitchen, conservatory and a garden courtyard. So feel free to come early or stay after the show for a coffee or lunch.
By Bus: No. 7, 70.
Walking from Westbourne Park Tube (0.5 mi – about 9 mins): Head southeast on A4207/Great Western Rd toward Tavistock Rd. Turn right at B412/Westbourne Park Rd then turn left at Powis Terrace. Turn right at Talbot Rd, the Tab is down on your right.
Walking from Notting Hill Gate Tube (0.7 mi – about 13 mins): Head east on A40/Notting Hill Gate toward Pembridge Gardens. Turn left at Pembridge Gardens and take a slight left at Pembridge Square. Turn right at A4206/Pembridge Rd and continue to follow A4206. Turn left at Chepstow Crescent, then continue on Ledbury Rd and then turn left at Talbot Rd. The Tab is down on your right.

Watermans may be in the wilds of West London but it is easy to get to!!
Bus: 65, 267, 237 all stop right outside. The stop is called ‘Watermans Centre’
Train: Watermans is only a short walk from either Brentford or Kew Bridge stations, served by South Western Trains
Tube: Gunnersbury and South Ealing are the nearest tube stations. From Gunnersbury it’s a short bus ride on the 237 or 267. From South Ealing, take the 65 and you’ll be with us in 5 minutes.
Car: Watermans has a covered on-site car park. Parking is free for the first hour so you can drop off and pick up or pop in to collect tickets (please ensure you display a ticket). Thereafter, a charge of £1 an hour will apply (up to a maximum of £5). Additional parking is available in the multi-story carpark 300 metres to the west of Watermans behind the Premier Inn.

By Tube
Jacksons Lane is conveniently situated opposite Highgate Tube Station, on the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line.
By Bus
Numbers 43, 134 and 263 stop right outside as do the night buses N20 and N134.
By Car
There is no car park at our venue and parking on surrounding roads is very limited, therefore, we recommend public transport.
Jacksons Lane is situated on the A1 with limited free parking on surrounding roads from 12pm Monday - Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Shepherds Hill, situated directly opposite, has restricted parking from 2pm - 4pm during the week.

We are delighted to be touring to the stunning Elgar Room, an auditorium within the world-famous Royal Albert Hall.
South Kensington and High Street Kensington are the closest underground stations to the Royal Albert Hall. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk here from either station.
The nearest National Rail station is London Victoria.

This lovely theatre is part of Kingston Grammar School and is situated in the centre of Kingston upon Thames in Surrey, a five minute walk from Kingston railway station and a three minute walk from the Cromwell Road bus station. There are excellent train and bus links from most of South West London and Surrey.
